Bad weather?

Hello West Broad!  I heard you were having a little bad weather today.  I'm happy to share with you pictures from my office!

I'm sorry - I couldn't resist!  After last year in snow, rain and sleet, it's so nice to be back in a city with great weather.  You may just see pictures of me floating in the lazy river at the hotel this year!

Today was a great day!  We are busy getting the hotel and practice fields set up for the team to arrive.  The city is starting to look like a Super Bowl city.  Buildings are being decorated and more people are starting to arrive.  The Pro Bowl is in just a few days which is added excitement for all of us.  Tonight is the big draft to see what players will play on what team for that all-star game.

Have a great day, bundle up and when you get cold think of sunny Phoenix!

  1. Hi Mrs. Leinen,
We are very jealous of your beautiful weather. Luckily the storm wasn't too bad yesterday and we got a full day of school and learning in today. Here are a few questions from some of the students in room 124.
Anthony- If you could meet one current player on any team, who would it be?
Dylan- If you could coach a team from the both the NFC and AFC, what teams would you want to coach?
Jaidyn- We think we know the answer to this question but who do you want to win the Super Bowl?

    Thanks for answering our questions!

  2. Good morning class! Great questions!!!

Of course I want Seattle to win! They have been really great to work for and I am definitely going to be cheering for them on Super Bowl Sunday

I think if I were to coach I would really want to coach in the Super Bowl. How exciting! As far as what teams??? I would pick Green Bay because the history with that team is incredible and where football started - after all the Super Bowl trophy is named after one of their coaches! The AFC team would be Denver I guess because it would be cool to say I coached Peyton Manning. I think he could actually teach me a lot more than I could teach him.

The toughest question is who I would like to meet. It might be Lynch from Seattle. Every time he talks to the media he makes me laugh. They ask him questions and he just says one word or sentence over and over. The whole time! I would like to talk to him to see if he could actually have a conversation with me.

A quick real fact from me.....besides loving the Eagles, I grew up a Seahawks fan. I loved their uniform colors and logo. Now I am here working side-by-side with them and very happy!

    Have a wonderful day!!!!!
